The tools I work with...

I don't believe in a single theory of change. I believe in whatever moves a person closer to the life they actually want to be living — and that changes, person to person, hour to hour. Here's how I think about each of the tools I've trained in:

Psychodynamic Therapy

We look back so you can move forward — because sometimes your childhood still has the remote control.

Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)

Feel your feelings… without letting them drive the bus. Even the loud, messy ones get a seat.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Life's not about deleting hard thoughts — it's about living your values while they tag along in the backseat.

Attachment-Based Therapy

Early bonds leave lasting impressions (hello, ghost of exes past). Let's untangle your relationship patterns with compassion.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Catching those "I'm the worst" thoughts and kindly showing them the exit.

Motivational Interviewing (MI)

Not sure you're ready to change? Totally okay. We'll explore what you want — no guilt trips, no bootcamp energy.

Trauma-Informed Care

We go at your pace, honor your story, and never pull emotional fire alarms without warning.

EMDR — Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

For the memories that live in the nervous system, not the story. When telling the story has not been enough.

Let's face it...

Being human is a wild ride...

One minute you're holding it all together, and the next you're lying awake at 2 a.m., wondering if you're the only one who hasn't figured out how to set boundaries, stop overthinking, or quiet the endless loop of guilt, shame, and shoulds. If that resonates, you're not alone — and you don't have to figure it out by yourself. Therapy is not a service you receive.

It’s work you do, with a person trained to hold it with you.

What you can reasonably expect: clearer self-knowledge, less self-abandonment, more capacity to feel what’s hard without being undone by it. What no one can honestly promise: a version of you that no longer hurts.

That’s not the goal anyway. The goal is a version of you who knows what to do with the hurt — and who isn’t alone with it.
